At a Snail's Pace

It was so warm when I walked this morning - 56 degrees.  There is even a crocus blooming in my yard.

 Strange weather.  I'm not complaining, I love the warmth.  But one of these days we will get more cold weather, I just know it.

I picked up Home Sweet Home again.  I'm ready to do the snail.  I started him twice and took it out twice.  Then I decided I should practice the ladder stitch before attempting the snail a third time.

 Now I feel a little more confident doing the ladder stitch so I am trying again.

 So far it is okay.
My goal today is to finish the snail.
